SHEEBA RAYE makeup artist

Sheeba's makeup journey began in 2007 when she trained with the Academy of Freelance Makeup (AOFM) in London. Soon after, she landed her first client; renowned saxophonist, Yolanda Brown.

 

This was swiftly followed by numerous stints at London Fashion Week and countless bookings across fashion and entertainment in the following years. She worked tirelessly, building a reputation for creating lasting finishes and flawless complexions whilst carving a niche as an ethnic makeup specialist.

Her work eventually led to multiple BEFFTA (Black Entertainment, Film, Fashion and Television awards) nominations for Best Makeup Artist.

2011 heralded the second phase of her career and brand, with the expansion from makeup artistry and education, to include the development of a false eyelash range and a hair and beauty salon and retail store which opened in London in 2012.

Inner beauty and self love are concepts Sheeba holds dear and she has always maintained the importance of giving back and serving communities through her work as a mentor. She has worked to empower women of all ages and backgrounds, using makeup and grooming as a vehicle for confidence building and personal development.

Sheeba's clients and collaborations include MTV, GMTV, The Clothes Show London, Sleek Cosmetics,Toni & Guy,Tinchy Stryder, Omar Lye-Fook MBE, award winning TV and radio presenter Leah Charles-King, model Sessilee Lopez, Izzy Bizu, actor Ashley 'Bashy' Thomas, director Shola Amoo and more.

2021 and beyond looks set to be another exciting phase as Sheeba continues to develop her career as a film, fashion and TV industry makeup artist, alongside plans to unveil a revolutionary beauty product, which is currently in development.
